Imagine a space where you'll feel like you are finally being heard and you belong.

Welcome to my corner of healthcare, where your well-being takes center stage. I'm Amy, a dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, and I'm thrilled to be your guide on the journey to optimal health.

In the realm of healthcare, I stand for something beyond the ordinary.  My mission is clear – to provide more than just medical solutions; Together, we'll explore ways to integrate positive habits into your daily life, fostering a sustainable path to a healthier, happier you.

Born and raised in Maine, I had a rural upbringing and had plenty of experience with healthcare starting at a young age. I wanted to become a nurse for as long as I can remember and I dove into healthcare as soon as I left high school. I’ve spent the last 20 years in healthcare and have worked across the US - from Maine to Washington, and loved all of the fascinating people I had the pleasure of knowing and helping.

Our healthcare system clearly needs improvement, and while I remain hopeful for change, it’s not happening quickly enough for me or the patients I’m dedicated to helping. I don’t want to spend just 7-15 minutes addressing symptoms and disease; I want to truly understand your life, your health, and your goals—and embark on a journey of better health together.

When I am not in the clinic, you’ll find me taking adventures to the mountains or beaches, playing pickleball, at the gym, or taking a foodie tour around Portland with my husband.

What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct primary care (DPC) is a healthcare model that involves patients paying a low monthly fee directly to their primary care provider, bypassing insurance. This arrangement provides patients with comprehensive primary care services, including routine check-ups, preventive care, and basic medical treatments, fostering a closer provider-patient relationship with longer appointment times, unlimited visits, and more personalized care. DPC aims to enhance accessibility, affordability, and quality of care by removing the traditional insurance-based payment system.
